Character spacing

You can use character spacing for effect, as in this example.

Character spacing example

Instead of pressing the spacebar several times after each character (a tedious and unreliable method), define a paragraph style with extra spacing between paragraphs. On the Position tab of the Paragraph Style dialog, in the Spacing section, select Expanded spacing and the amount of space to be inserted between characters. You may need to experiment a bit to find the best spacing for the effect you want to achieve.
